CONSULTANCY
PMS S.A. consists of a team of experienced surveyors from various backgrounds such as Chief Engineers, Masters and graduates in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering with many years of experience at sea and ashore as Technical Managers or Superintendent Engineers and as Surveyors. We combine technical knowledge with an understanding of the industry and its practices in providing assistance and technical advice to our clients.
The range of surveys we carry out includes:
- Damage surveys - vessel, fixed and floating objects
- Collision/contacts - Grounding
- Cruise vessels & Yacht surveys
- P&I and H&M condition surveys
- Flag state inspections
- On/Off hire/pre-purchase surveys
- Bunker surveys
Certain cases call for particular expertise, for instance destructive and non-destructive testing, metallurgical examination, chemical analysis, underwater inspections, deepwater surveying and cam cording or cargo sampling. In such cases we subcontract outside our firm.
TECHNICAL MANAGEMENT
PMS S.A. has many years of experience in technical management. We can undertake the technical management and supervision of vessels, providing follow-up of ISM and ISPS standards. Our Engineering team follows vessels’ performance and maintenance closely as our goal is proactive management. We provide excellent and cost effective ship maintenance and repairs.
