COMPANY OBJECTIVE







Piraeus Marine Services S.A. was founded in 2008 with the goal to provide efficient solutions to clients and partners, covering a wide range of marine services and forming solid strategic alliances in the shipping market whilst maintaining an action-oriented management culture.



Located in Piraeus at the heart of the greatest shipping center, PMS employs a team of qualified naval architects, marine engineers and consultants who provide clients with comprehensive, effective service, combining wide-ranging experience with modern technology.



The founders of PMS S.A. have 40 years of experience in the shipping business, including 20 years of technical management in a cruise vessel company. We have an excellent reputation in providing quality services and reliability, trustworthiness and dedication. PMS works closely with an impressive list of principals serving clients based around the globe as we strive to enhance our reputation in a competitive marketplace.



We have achieved a long-lasting high performance, thus shaping our future in the marine transportation industry. As we develop our operations, we will continue training ourselves and our associates in order to provide quality service up to date with the latest developments in the Shipping Industry.

About Mr. Tripolitis



Mr. Markos Tripolitis is a Naval Architect and Marine Engineer with 40 years of experience in the shipping industry. He was born in 1952 in Vrontados of Chios, where he also graduated from Nautical High School. He studied Naval Architecture in Sunderland, and graduated from the University of Michigan with a Master of Science post graduate degree in Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering. During his studies, he worked on board cargo vessels as an apprentice and then as a third engineer. After his Military Service for the Greek Navy, in 1981 he took over the position of Marine Superintendent at Diana Shipping Agencies S.A. From 1988 to 2009 he was the Technical Manager in Majestic International Cruises Inc., having the responsibility of three cruise vessels. In 2009, he founded Piraeus Marine Services S.A., a company which specialises in Consulting, Repairs and Dry-Dockings.
